Angel Penrod

Dispatch Manager

Angel is a native of the St. Louis area. She went to Triad High School in Troy, IL and then on to college at McKendree University. She received her certification in medical coding during her 10 year stent at St Louis University - Department of Internal Medicine. Angel joined BTX as a temporary dispatcher in 2007 to assist during our transition from paper to electronic RIS/PACS. She quickly impressed us with her knowledge, abilities and pleasant demeanor, and was promoted from temporary to full-time status.

Angel is very adept with technology and has been instrumental in trouble-shooting and solving IT dilemmas. Angel provides leadership in our dispatch department and serves as a liaison between dispatch, billing and the technologists. She is an integral member of our QA team, as dispatch is the “nerve center” of our BTX operation.

Angel is the mother of two lovely daughters, whom she believes are growing up far too quickly. Angel loves camping, concerts, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
