Diagnostic Ultrasound

BTX offers a full range of mobile diagnostic ultrasound services in most geographic areas, performed by ARDMS-registered sonographers using state-of-the-art equipment. Ultrasound uses sound technology to capture images of soft tissues that don’t show up well on x-ray. It does not require needles, injections, or incisions, and patients are not exposed to radiation, which makes it one of the safest diagnostic techniques. Properly performed ultrasound poses no known risks to the patient.

Ultrasound can be used in diagnosing a wide variety of conditions affecting the organs and soft tissues of the body, including the heart and blood vessels, abdomen, liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, bladder, uterus, ovaries, thyroid, and testicles.

Ultrasound procedures frequently require patient preparation. Call 877.909.9729 for patient prep instructions and to schedule your exam.
