Donna Bartlett

Techologist Supervisor

Donna joined BioTech X-ray in June, 2016. She loves working in portable imaging because it enables her to spend extra time with her patients to do the best job possible and get to know them personally.

Donna graduated from Finley Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in Dubuque, Iowa. She is now certified as ARDMS AB, OB/GYN, RVT, VT, RT(R).

Prior to working for BTX, Donna honed her skills as a radiologic technologist in Dubuque, Iowa at Finley Hospital, Xavier Hospital, and Mercy Hospital. She was also cross trained in CT and was the Coordinator/Lead Technologist at Finley Hospital for ten years. In 1996 she was cross trained into Ultrasound. When her husband was transferred to Davenport, Iowa in 2001, she joined Genesis Medical Center, becoming the Lead Sonographer in 2011.

Donna lives in West Des Moines, Iowa with her husband, Mark who is retired after working 42 years at John Deere. They have two children: Tony who works as a Radiologic Technologist at Broadlawns Hospital in Des Moines, Specializing in MRI and CT, and Amanda who is a dog sled musher in Pinedale, WY supporting her sport by working at Pinedale Community Schools as a custodian. They also have one grandchild, Madison, who inspired them to relocate to the Des Moines area.

Donna enjoys a variety of activities in her spare time. She plays handbells for West Des Moines Christian Church. She also likes to read, crochet, and garden and enjoys swimming, yoga, biking, and camping. They are often accompanied by their Siberian Husky named Kiska. Donna's favorite vacation spot is the Yellowstone National Park.
